API access

The MVP product is web-only. We don't offer public API access yet.

Why not yet

• Rate limiting, quota accounting, and abuse prevention need to be hardened first
• Pricing model for programmatic use needs design (per-call vs. monthly quota)
• API stability commitments need an SLA framework

Enterprise inquiries

If your team needs programmatic access for legitimate research workflows (e.g. integration into internal tooling, batch generation under human supervision), contact sales@essence.report with:

• Use case description
• Expected volume (Reports / month)
• Whether outputs will be redistributed (and if so, to whom)
• Compliance requirements (DPA, data residency, etc.)

We may offer dedicated API access under Enterprise agreements.

Roadmap

Public API access is targeted for late 2026 / early 2027 once the web product is mature. Watch essence.report/blog for announcements.
